Nursery Chairs for Comfort & Support While Nursing

Both offer a comfortable place to feed, settle and relax with your baby, but they operate differently. Our manual recliners feature a spring-loaded manual recline function, while our electric recliners allow you to smoothly adjust your position at the touch of a button. Electric recliners can be particularly convenient when holding or feeding your baby, as they require less physical effort to recline and return to an upright position.

An electric recliner can be a convenient option during recovery after a C-section, as you can recline and return to an upright position at the touch of a button without needing to manually close the footrest. After a C-section, using a manual recliner or glider may require core strength you simply don’t have yet. An electric recliner nursery chair allows you to:

• Recline and sit upright at the push of a button
• Raise your legs to reduce swelling and discomfort
• Avoid bending, twisting or pushing on your abdominal area
• Get up more easily, with minimal strain

Our manual recliner nursery chairs feature a spring-loaded manual recline function. This allows you to recline without needing electricity, making them a great option if you don't have convenient access to a power point or simply prefer a manual recliner.

Yes. Our electric recliner nursery chairs need to be connected to a power outlet for the electric reclining function to operate. Always follow the power and safety instructions supplied with your chair.

Yes, they include USB A & C charging ports that can be used for your phone, tablet or other nursery equipment, such as a breast pump, night light or white noise machine.

A traditional rocking chair moves back and forth along curved runners, while a glider moves smoothly backwards and forwards from a fixed base and also swivels side to side.

The rocking or gliding motion cannot be locked while the chair is upright. However, once the chair is reclined, the rocking or gliding motion stops, providing a stable position while reclined.

Yes our nursery chairs feature a swivel base, allowing you to easily turn while seated. Features vary between models, so check the individual product page for the functionality of your chosen chair.

If you prefer a firmer, more supportive seat, Chelsea is a great option. Its firmer cushioning and taller frame provides a more structured sitting experience, making it ideal for those who prefer additional support rather than a chair they sink deeply into.

If you prefer a softer, more cushioned nursery chair, Louie and Quinn are great options. Both offer a plush and comfortable seating experience for feeding, settling, cuddling or simply relaxing with your baby.

If you're working with a smaller nursery or tighter space, consider Henry, Felix or Maya. Their more compact frames make them great options for smaller rooms while still providing a comfortable place to feed, settle and relax with your baby.

Frankie offers a contemporary design with electric recline, convenient side pockets and a supportive bolster cushion. Louie offers a softer, wider seat with generously cushioned armrests for a plush and comfortable feel.

You'll need enough room for your nursery chair to recline comfortably, including space for the backrest and footrest. As dimensions vary between models, we recommend checking the individual product measurements.

The best thing you can do for nursery chair care is to take preventative measures that will help it to stay in good condition for longer.  At iL Tutto, we only use premium fabrics with stain resistant qualities so you’re already a step ahead. Using the Fabric Protection Shield that’s included in our Care Cover Fabric Care Kit will give your nursery chair an added layer of stain protection. If you spill something on your nursery chair it’s best to clean it as soon as possible so the stain doesn’t set in to the fabric.  Our Care Cover Fabric Care Kit includes everything you need to treat unwanted stains.
